The National Safety Council (U.S.) has honored Hexcel CEO Nick Stanage as part of its 2022 “CEOs Who Get It” program, recognizing his leadership in ensuring that safety is at the forefront of our decisions and a guiding principle throughout our company.
Hexcel and Fairmat will build the capability to recycle carbon fiber prepreg from Hexcel European operations for reuse in composite panels sold into commercial markets. As a result, it is intended that most of the carbon fiber prepreg cutoffs generated at Hexcel plants in Europe will be repurposed by the end of 2022.
The Hexcel Foundation has made grants to three charitable organizations working to improve education, fight cancer, and relieve hunger and homelessness worldwide.
